Application and/or registration is free.

The search has two (2) main categories: the Green and Resilient Category .

Open to ALL Barangays, Sangguniang Kabataan Councils, Youth-based Organizations, Businesses, Public and Private Hospitals and Schools within the territorial jurisdiction of Quezon City.

TO JOIN?

MECHANICS OF SUBMISSION

  1. Register your organization in the microsite.

  2. Complete the training requirement for your sector to be eligible for the category.

    1. Attend the live training sessions via zoom platform:

      • July xx, 2024: Sangguniang Kabataan Councils

      • July xx & xx, 2024: Barangays

      • July xx, 2024: Business

      • July xx, 2024: Youth Organizations

      • July xx, 2024: Hospitals

      • July xx, 2024: Schools

    2. Watch the training videos on the library section of the Quezon City Green Awards Microsite.

  3. Only those who have attended or completed the training requirement may be considered to join.

  4. The period of submission of entries is from June xx to July xx, 2024.

  5. An organization may submit one (1) entry per category ONLY.

  6. An entry may be re-submitted in other categories, if applicable. (e.g. Entries for Green and Resilient Youth Organization and SK Councils may be the same)

  7. The QC Green Awards Committee enforces electronic submission of entries through the official Google form link (Google Form Link will be open on Month xx, 2024). In case of any Additional supporting documents or Means of Verification may be submitted via email at entry@greenawards.quezoncity.gov.ph.

  8. The QC Green Awards Committee reserves the right to accept or refuse entries submitted through other platforms and to strictly implement paperless-generated submissions.

  9. Submission of entries is completely free of charge. 



AUTHORIZATION TO RELEASE INFORMATION

By submitting the entry form, you give consent for the QC Green Awards Committee to process and release your information for any relevant purpose in line with the awards' objectives. The committee may also edit, repackage, or use the submitted information for the purposes of publication in the future.

CERTIFICATION OF ACCURACY

The submission of the entry form must certify that all information provided by the applicant is true, accurate, and complete.

GREEN CATEGORY

BARANGAYS

Must have an established Barangay Environment Committee through any legal instruments (ie. Barangay Resolution, Executive Order or any other similar issuances).

Sangguniang Kabataan COUNCILS

Must have an SK Council Resolution or any other similar issuances appointing an Environmental Focal Person.

Youth-based OrganizationS

Must be registered with Quezon City Youth Development Office, President/Chairman/Head of the organization must have his/her own bank account, and/or legal document for special consideration.

Businesses

Must have a valid and current Business Permit issued by the City: BPLD

1. Large Organizations (Income/ Capital)

2. Medium-sized Organizations (Income/ Capital)

3. Small Organizations (Income/ Capital)

4. Micro Enterprises (Income/ Capital)

Hospitals

Any Public and Private Hospitals that has an existing and valid DOH Licence to Operate (LTO)

1. Primary Hospitals

2. Secondary Hospitals

3. Tertiary Hospitals

Schools

Any Public and Private Primary, Secondary, and Higher Education Institutions (HEI).

1. Primary Schools - Kinder to Grade 6

2. Secondary Schools - Junior or Senior High School or combination

3. Higher Educational Institutions - Covers all State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), private Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), and local Universities and Colleges (LUCs), headed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED)

RESILIENT CATEGORY

BARANGAYS

Must have an established Barangay DRRM Committee through any legal instruments (ie. Barangay Resolution, Executive Order or any other similar issuances).

1.Category A: Barangays with income of 50 Million Pesos and above

2.Category B: Barangays with income of at least 20 Million Pesos but below 50 Million Pesos

3.Category C: Barangays with income below 20 Million Pesos

Sangguniang Kabataan COUNCILS

Must have an SK Council Resolution or any other similar issuances appointing a DRRM Focal Person.

Youth-based OrganizationS

Must be registered with Quezon City Youth Development Office, President/Chairman/Head of the organization must have his/her own bank account, and/or legal document for special consideration.

Businesses

Must have a valid and current Business Permit issued by the City: DBO.

1. Primary Schools - Kinder to Grade 6
