About QC Green Awards

The QC Green Awards is a recognition program that aims to inspire and promote impactful initiatives in disaster resilience and climate action across Quezon City by Sangguniang Kabataan Councils, Youth Organizations, Barangays, Businesses, Hospitals, Schools, Non-Governmental Organizations or Civil Society Organizations, and People’s Organizations

within Quezon City. Through education, collaboration, and healthy competition, the QC Green Awards showcases the city’s best practices while aligning with national and global sustainability goals. Ultimately, it aspires to position Quezon City as a leading model of excellence in climate and disaster resilience.

Objectives

• Inspire and encourage city-wide programs, initiatives, and practices on disaster resilience and climate action. 

• Continuously educate QC citizens, youth, barangay leaders, businesses, public and private hospitals, schools, non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations, and people’s organizations on disaster resilience and climate action. 
• Showcase Quezon City’s best practices and contributions to the country’s climate and resilience objectives.
• Establish Quezon City as a global model of excellence in disaster resilience and climate action.
